I have not. Someone else told me about yaki and what it is. Unless you are of african american decent I would not reccommend the yaki. Yaki means that it was perminately relaxed, which is what african americans oftem do. If this does pertain to you, it sounds like a good idea. You have to watch out though. 14 inches is about a little past your shoulders and you will have to buy quite a few to get a whole head. Possibly 3 or 4. the weight is .54lbs and most people need about 8 ounces of hair to do the extensions. I would do some more background info before buying online just to see how much you will need and how much it will cost.
Hope this helps a little :)

Hmm...collagen hair. I have some of that and I don't remember why...I think it was Leia who found it and sent me some?
I'll tell you what it's like: it reminds me alot of whole wheat spaghetti from Trader Joe's. The yaki texture is not TOO yaki, but it does have more of a 'tooth' than silky straight like PH - it's not kinky, but it's not silky. And it is straight. It also doesn't feel like other synthetic - it does have a more 'natural' feel to it but it's not the feeling of hair. Again, cook a little whole wheat spaghetti and you'll see what I mean.
This is not to say it's bad. In fact, it seems good. It did take high heat without frying but didn't curl all that well in my brief experiment. If it's not expensive, it's definitely worth a try.

all of the thermal fibers I have tried have been yaki texture, and trust me its not the same as human hair yaki texture. I dont know why these thermals attach the 'yaki' description but they are far from what Id consider 'yaki'. They all have been quite 'silky' actually.
The .54 lbs is shipping weight I believe which includes the packaging weight. If the hair on that site is packaged anything like all the other hair Ive bought, one package is comparable to 100-112 grams. Or around 4 ounces. I wouldnt think it would take more than 2 to do a full head. 6-8 ounces is average for 18-22 inch hair.

Yes, Syren, that's the OPH hair I sent you quite a while ago.
Remilover, if you search the boards for OPH, you can read about my
experiments with Zury Organic Protein Hair (OPH) which is almost the
exact same thing as Pro 10.
Overall, I thought it was okay. I have fairly fine hair, and this
stuff was a bit coarser than my real hair. It doesn't come in as
many colors or as long a length as plastikhaar, but it's a little less
plastic-like. Pro 10 supposedly comes in a 20" silky straight,
which I would've liked to try, but I was never able to find it.
Thanks ladies for your adivce. I may give the Pro 10 a try if it can handle heat. I like it straight with a few flicks here and there, and I do prefer yaki texture as I am afro carribean, again thanks for coming back to me on this, If I order I will give the feedback after it is installed. By the way, I found this over here on a UK website, just wondered what you ladies thought to it, it may fair better for you if you are Europen as I couldn't see a yaki type one for me, but still may get the sample peice and let you know what little experiments I can do on it
she charges double the price, yes its american dream. i like the hair infact i luv the thermofibe but would never wear it as it hardly comes in any colours and none of the coulours match my own
