I was just wondering if any of you guys had tried putting baby oil on
your hair. My friend recommended it to me and said it was really good,
has any one else tried it and got any opinions?

I would imagine it would depend on your hair texture.My sister uses it on her childrens hair.But they have very thick,coarse, and curly hair. I would think it might make someone with fine to medium hair look oily. It couldnt hurt to try though depending on your hair texture.

Baby oil or Mineral oil is a petroleum based product. It will coat the hair strand, but you wont get any absorption into the hair. It definatly wont "hurt" your hair, but depending on your hair type, it might make out for an oily mess.
I think it has to do with the molecule size, that it's much bigger than a regular oil molecule. Maybe that's why it doesn't absorb the same way as, say, jojoba, and then it coats the hair strand as Madalyne said.
