If you got it at a salon....call back and tell them you want them to tone it. If you did it on your own and have a beauty supply place  near you buy a toner.

I have had highlights and color and it is sort of red and brassy. I want to go back to my natural dark brown......But my hair is already damaged from the coloring.

Is there any gentle coloring or what do you guys suggest...
