If its a permanent color, most likely not. But if u are using temporary color then u should shampoo ur hair and not condition until after u wash out the dye. Hope this helps.

will having hair serum or a silicone hair product in my hair prior to dying it, affect it in any way. because i usually style my hair with product everyday and i want to dye it soon but if the products will mess up my result i wil have to wash it wait a day or two and then dye.. does anyone know how the product will affect my haircolor result if i apply hairdye while the product is still in my hair?
