Hi, i'm rather new to all this so please be patient with me!
I'm installing some hair weft next week, my hair is long and black with an undercut that i'm growing out, so just wanting to bulk out the back a bit so i can wear my hair down for a week!
Anyway, my question is what glue do you recommend? I've heard great stuff about Liquid Gold, but from what I can see on here a lot of people have problems with white flakey bits after a few days(not good for my black hair!)
I've seen some black hair glue on Ebay (it comes in a set with white hair glue and some remover) can't see what brand it is though.
Any suggestions/help very much apprecaited!
Thankyou.
The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they're going to be when you kill them.

Hello, I have black hair too and have had wefts in with Liquid Gold for almost 3 weeks now.
Although I do find the LG is slightly visible (ie white-ish) on the sandwiched area, it is covered by my own hair so isn't noticable to anyone else (unless they looked really close!)
I haven't found it flakey personally.
If you weren't using the sandwich method, I don't see why the LG would show at all, but I'm not sure as I haven't tried that yet.
Also, the black glue on ebay probably wouldn't create nearly as long a lasting bond as Liquid Gold unfortunately, so is probably not the best option, unless you only need them to stay in for a short period of time. A word of warning if you do decide to use LG though - don't use the brush to appy it, use a syringe (without a needle)! Because otherwise, in my experience, it is extremely frustrating stuff to work with, especially for a first-timer! These are the ones I used - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-Oral-Medicine-Syringes-5ml-with-Fill er-Tubes_W0QQitemZ7720119982QQcategoryZ20436QQssPageNameZWDV WQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Hope that helps x

hi the glue on ebay will prob be proclaim. if you only want them in for a week that glue should hold out!
however imo LG is not *that* hard to work with. if you keep running it under hot water. and then theres the syringe method that emily showed...
the glue flaking: if you have long hair to cover the bonded wefts pretty well, even if the glue flakes a wee bit you shouldnt be able to see it with your hair covering the bonds. have to say ive never had any probs with flaking but then that mite be cos im blonde so dont notice
