It's easy to mix colors together, especially if you know a little about color theory. Neutral shades are generally a mix of the three primary colors, red-yellow-blue. If you want a little more red to add in there add it. Strand test first to see if you like the color combo. Here's how you mix...stay with the SAME product, mix 1/2 neutral with 1/2 red...strand test...try mixing 1/4 red with 3/4 neutral, strand test.
You have a lot of natural red pigment anyway, so the later amount might do. Just go to Sally and look at the swatches see what red you are liking, burgundy, orange, bold-red, then get that one and the neutral on the same level.
Good luck!

Well, I'm no expert when it comes to coloring hair so I would rather not do something that requires mixing two products together, lol. I don't want something that's too red, I don't wanna look weird. When I dyed my hair you could see the red, but mainly in the sun. So, I want something that you can see, but not so much where it looks terrible.

Sorry, no one has answered you, but I'll give it a GO! I think for a nice WARM orangey Red stick with L'Oreal Preference. Get a neutral and mix in a bit of a red color. I wouldn't use a dye any lighter than 2 shades, so lightest brown.--also you have warm undertones so you don't need a lot of red, hence the neutral shade.
Also, I have heard some have had nice results with Nice and Easy by Clairol.
Unless you have a Sally's? It's Miss Clairol.
Good luck and hope this helps.

For those of you who have dyed your hair, what is the best product that gets the best results? I'm a 22 year old male and have naturally dark brown hair, and a few years back I had auburn highlights which looked nice. I dyed my hair red about a year ago and it wasn't bad, so I was wondering what good choices of product I may have if I wanted to dye my hair either with red or auburn highlights?
*NOTE* I dyed my hair red using Herbal Essence Radiant Ruby - Deep Red # 44. For the auburn that was professionally done.
