So it looks like Amanda is having good results with the Extend Magic.
I have mixed feelings so far. I find that is it necessary to double coat the hair with adhesive, since not enough adhesive gets transferred on the hair with one application. The double coating drastically lengthens the time for the install. I can do a 200 piece shrink link install in 4 hours, while a 200 piece install with the Extend Magic takes me about 7 hours.
Also, too, I have been using the 'stick hair'. I have found that the stick hair from Long 2 Short has too much wax on the tip, and therefore impeded the bonding. It shed like crazy, in big chunks just a week after install. I was kind of suspicious when I was installing it, because I could feel the wax getting all over my fingertips.
I have had successful installs with stick hair from hairpiece and Extensions Plus. The only problem is that Short 2 Long is the only place I can find that makes a nice, wavy hair.
I tried using hair off the weft, but it also shed like crazy too.
