I wanted to start a thread about poeple cuttin thier own hair.
I wanted to find out who was even attempting to try I have been cuttin my hair for about a year and a half and maybe 4 months ago I started cutting WTG(when I started waving). I just wanted to see how many of yall are like me....

^ yea in the begining I made a couple mistakes but you learn as you go and the mistakes you make you will learn to fix. I mean I havent even been to barber shop in almost 6 months. I even cut my cousins hair when he comes over thats extra practice also.
It saves money too. I just pocket that 15 dollars that I had to use to go to the shop for something else.

In my bathroom I have a medicine cabinetnext to my mirror I just open it and I can see the back of my headit takes me like 20 minutes to cut 30 when I make sure every aspect of my cut is right.

i hold a mirror in one hand, and the clippers in another. in one of our bathrooms, the rest of the wall above the sink and its countertop is all mirror. so basically, the double mirror trick.
it was hard at first cuz the mirror image would trick me, but now i do it w/o thinkin about it, and it doesnt take me but a min or so to get a sharp line
i was thinking of becoming a barber my self as a side job, but got to go to skool for it, or guess learn from one of my friends
cutting hair can save u $$$ while u making it
