I USE THE 1/6.. I TAPE WITH THE ANDIS T-LINERS ITS EASY I DO MY WHOLE HEAD..YOU NEED TO ADJUST THEM T-LINERS FOR THAT FRESHNESS..TO BLEND JUST GO AGAINST THE GRAIN A LIL,COMB IT THEN REPEAT THE PROCESS THEN THE FADE WILL START 2 SHOW..
