Not enough hair color - uneven results

Put another box of it on. Simple as..
I've just had to face it that because I have long thick hair, I HAVE to buy 2 boxes. 

If you use the very same colour as you did the first time it should be quite even.  What exactly is the colour of the hair dye and the colour of your natural hair?

Also, is it the first time you've coloured?  Because the first time your hair may not be very porous and won't take well, you just have to keep doing it with the same colour until you get even results.  I had this problem on my virgin hair...it took about 6 bottles of dye before it was even.   I have very light blonde hair naturally and dyed it cappuccino brown first, so that's a big jump.  The colour did not go darker for me.

Colouring close to the last time you coloured will inevitably damage your hair, but if I were you I'd try it once more before your roots start coming through, just to see - roots will make it even more uneven after all.  Look after the hair before and after.  The damage won't be very noticeable, dyes ae very good these days for conditioning your hair and doing minimum damage.

If you're worried do a strand test on bits that haven't taken and bits that have, then see the difference in colour.
