Then she went shorter. These days she looks like this:

Actually, the latter is one of her better hair days. It often looks like she got out of bed, ran a comb through her hair and got on the air. Anyway, I often long for the good old days.

Actually I think there is a difference - the shorter one looks much more
polished and professional, and the first more casual and mom-next-
door-ish. Both are OK, neither grabs me.

The bigger question, I think, is why we're discussing her if she hasn't
changed her hair recently. Anyone?

The make-up is very harsh in the first picture so it's difficult to focus on the hair.  I think that overall she looks better in the second picture and that, like fm said, there's not a huge difference between the two hairstyles shown.

Yes, that picture is from a party back in November.  It was really windy and I was really drunk so my hair looks crazy...!
