I tried the glycerin and aloe and distilled water mix
and my hair is not dry but its a total wreck,, it wouldnt
get straight,, and the curls are frizzy as heck LOL,, i
wont be using it again,, im gonna have to wear it
pulled back till thursday when i can finally wash
again ,, i think i just gave my hair too much moisture
and its too coated to straighten,, well thats a
dissapointment, anyone know of a really good
leave in that DOES NOT weigh the hair down but
really provides good moisture????? anyway ,, at
least my hair is soft till i wash it again but it looks like
HELL LOLOL(at least i can laugh at myself
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

oh cookies- sorry that this happened to you. I use this mixture daily but i hardly ever straighten my hair. Maybe i should have told you not to attempt to straighten while using the spritz. Use it only when wearing the shrunken fro or ponytail or any other natural style.

How about Paul Mitchell The Conditioner. That's really light. I used this on my hair when I washed it last night because I'm planning to go to the hairdresser for the BC. Last time when I went to this hairdresser she shampooed my hair over and over because i had shea butter on it and I had just done a color rinse. I tried to tell her that the rinse is going to come out every time I wash but she didn't understand. I want to have as little as possible on my hair so she doesn't have to wash it more than once.
Type: 3c/4a Natural
Current Length: 6"
Goal: Healthy, tip of nose /neck/shoulder length hair.

its ok carameldiva,, my hair is very very soft which it
never is when its not straightened so if i do decide to
wear it curly ill use some so at least it isnt dried out
and breaking but,, as far as straightening,, it makes
the hair too soft to stay straight!    Layla,, ill check that
out when i go to the BSS

Sorry to hear that.  I didn't think the glycerin would work well for straightening.  I've never used it that way.  It did make your hair soft though didn't it?  I know what you mean about almost too soft.  I like to wear my hair fluffy sometimes though so it works for that.  I use Elucence as a leave in and I really like it.  It helps me detangle big time.  I can get a fine tooth comb through my hair after I use it.
