Sorry, you're gonna have to copy 'n' paste these to view (WHY can't I get
links to work??). Because they show up as two lines here, ya might have
to do some fiddling to show as one line in your browser's address area.

Moose looking for lunch off my back deck:

Moment when I realized I had to get my tush back into the house:

http://pic18.picturetrail.com/VOL906/4028952/8368817/
128705843.jpg

And because I'm a dog-mom who absolutely has to gush over her new
baby: This is Cutter, a 12 year old "retired" showdog who didn't get
enough points in the ring to please his former owners, so he got passed
around a lot. He's a sheltie (short for shetland sheepdog), and he's an
absolute doll! My hubby and I are so very happy to have him as a
member of our family... heck, he's better behaved than most of our
human family members!

Okay, and something on topic: I put in about 6-7 oz of Bohyme tonight
using Amm's pro-tac. Took only 90 minutes, but I only used 3 Pro-Flex
strips.... is that enough?? I'll post pics tomorrow after my haircut.

When I bought my Saab, the dealer told me proudly that the 9-5 had
passed the "moose test." I thought he was joking until he explained that
in Sweden all the cars undergo a moose test, where they are driven into a
huge replica of a moose to be sure that the passengers can survive a
crash with a moose! Apparently, car-moose accidents are fairly common
in Scandinavia. Here in Southern California we don't see to many mooses
on the road, but it sure makes me feel safer driving on the freeways with
all those big SUVs knowing my car passed the test.

Oh ya ... sometimes a crasy moose swim from Sweden to Denmark, and the police and firedepartment go crasy until they have put it of a boat back to the big woods .
I do think its cool to have a wild moose in the garden, and your dog is a lovebear, I want to hug him .

And by the way, anyone want snow? Come visit me. I am sooo tired of snow everywhere, big sweaters and wet clothes on the children. I WANT SPRING

Poor Synne! I wish I could send you some Southern California sunshine.
It is 80 here right now. A little snow sounds nice to me, but the winter
you guys have been having is horrible and nasty.

Thank you, Sherrie!

Synne, I think you've got it worse, with the ice storm you've had. We
have freeze-thaw cycles up here, but at least only the ground is covered
in ice, which I can live with. That's what Subaru's are for!

And I think MN gets worse weather than we do here too. The Midwest
U.S. gets it at least as bad as us.

I live in Anchorage, Alaska, for 6 years now! A lot of moose like to
hang out in front of the Safeway grocery store near us, but we live right
next to the mountains, so we get a lot of moose and a couple bears on
our street (from a salmon-spawning creek about a 1/2 mile away). It is a
cool experience, but it'd be nice to live near family again in the Lower 48.

Okay, here's the pic! Didn't bring the pro-flex strips forward enough to
blend in with my own hair, and it's super noticeable with straight hair, so
I guess I'll just have to live with bouncy curls. Waaah, cry me a river,
right?

Tomorrow if I get internet access for a second, I'll try to post it in a new
topic.

It looks great Kimberly! Isnt it nice how curls help disguise and blend! I dont like to cut mine after a new install until after Ive washed the hair for the first time. But once I curl it it blends well enough to get me by a day or two til I wash.

Love the hair!

And the dog, aww, we have a sheltie mix, and he's is just the cutest thing
in the entire world! I definately want to get another (if not a few more!)
He's got so much personality, and is such a ham! Everywhere we go, he
gets ALL the attention, even people are like I hate dogs, but he's so cute,
can I pet him? Hehe.

And the moose, I have never actually seen a moose in my life! In chicago,
we don't exactly get many wandering the streets!

Shelties ARE awesome! We got Cutter from our state's sheltie rescue
association.... Naked Eye, you can check out these places for shelties
waiting to be rescued near Chicago

http://www.secondhandshelties.org/

http://www.illinoissheltierescue.com/available.html

(there are probably more rescues in your state that I don't know about,
but it's a good place to start)

Cutter was out on the deck and was the 1st to see the moose; he barked
three times, and when I opened the door into the house and called his
name, he came in right away! He didn't try to jump over the deck railing
or anything! Our last two dogs were hyper lab mixes... there was no way
I'd be able to get their attention in that situation. Cutter is one cool
dude... just chillin', kickin' it, and keepin' it real.

Sherrie, I wish I'd tried washing and curling my hair before I got it cut!
My stylist cut off a LOT of the extension hair in attempting to
blend... I need to find out more about the whole "cutting to blend" thing
for extensions, so I can give her better directions next time (she's never
worked with extensions, and I'm new at it too). Still, it is lookin' good!
After having shoulder length hair for two weeks, all the neighbors are
doing double-takes and saying, "Wow, I guess I've never seen you with
your hair down before!"

OMG your hair is absolutely gorgeous. I cant wait till my stuff gets here next week.

That is so cool having wild life right in your back yard. I live in Colorado and I have to drive about 30 mins to see any wild life.

Your dog is a doll. I cant believe anyone wouldnt want him! I got a shar pei mix puppy from the pound last week. He ended up with parvo and he's in the hospital right now. I go and visit him everyday on my lunch hour. Today, when he saw me he stood up and wagged his tail and licked my nose, so he's showing some improvement. The vet says me might come home next Monday. He is the sweetest puppy and so smart! We had only had him 2 days when he got the hang of the dog door.

i had a sheltie for 15 yrs till we had to put her down, they are the BEST dogs too, i even taught her how to hug- sit on the floor, tell her to put your head on your chest and hug, they are actually the smartest dogs with the largest brains. you can teach them new stuff at any age- i miss my dog:(
Bringing beauty, one head at a time...

Zowie, Kimberly! Gorgeous!!!

Yeah, curling is the key to blending the layers. It looks totally awesome and gorgeous!

Have you tried putting in some little pieces at the front? I do that and it works well. You can trim them before you install 'em and put 'em wherever you want.

Moose: "twig eater" in Algonquin (I think...in an Indian language for sure). Isn't that cute? Amazing how twigs can create and sustain a 1,000 lb. beast like a moose. (SOrry to be such a know-it-all today).
