Hey Canopy.. you should try Bubbles Salon in the Fashion Center at Pentagon City(Arlington, VA).. it's metro accessible on the yellow/blue lines, if you didn't feel like driving.  I've been there several times, and I was absolutely amazed at the results.  I think you should definitely give it a try.  I had so many hair problems before I went there, and after I recieved a great style, with tons of advice from the stylists.  The only thing I could discredit is the expensive pricing.  Although a little high, my god it is truely worth it.  A good wash, cut, and blowdry will run about 30 bucks.. but I must say again, it's worth it.  I recommend Glorietta if you get a chance to make an appointment!

i agree with blackhoney112.find someone whos acquainted with natural hair

Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

hey yall, i know there have been some posts about salons recently and i figured i'd join in. i am thinking about going to a salon to get a BC. i have been natural and bunning/bagging like whoa and while I have experienced some nice growth, i can't take no more of these ragged ends! i'm going to do an intense hot oil/deep condition/conditioning later tonite and if that doesn't work, then i'm gonna need to find a stylist.

problem is, i just relocated. what tips do you guys suggest in finding a good salon? what are things i should look for from a stylist? i'm still pretty inept at this whole hair thing, so how can i tell if they really know what they're doing, especially with natural hair? i know asking people works but i don't go out much except to the office so i haven't really seen anybody with a hairstyle that just knocks me over. any advice from somebody who does have good salon experiences would be helpful. also, please feel free to share good salon experiences!!! i love hearing about them and i feel like i don't hear them nearly enough.

oh, and if anyone can suggest somebody or a salon in the dc area, that would be sweet as well.
