QuoteReplyTopic: New and First Install (Pics) Posted: February 19 2006 at 6:21pm
Hello Everyone, I have been a lurker for about 6 months now. Our salon does not do extensions but I am eager to. My first install was on my daughter who is 19. Needless to say, she was thrilled. I used fusion hair from Yourhairshop.com and so far we are both thrilled (FYI, if you buy, upgrade the shipping, it's in black and white how long it takes but upgrade) We used D-LUX 18" Straight MX24/613. It took me three hours, not bad for first time. The after pics I should have waited to take, this was her second day with the hair and I think she played with it too long, she loves curling it. She works at a sports bar (also in college :)) and she was at work 20 minutes and my phone rang with another girl wanting them. Going to have to have a talk with my daugher, she actually told them the real cost of the hair grrrrrrrrr. The hair feels amazing, I am anxious to see how it holds up. My daugher will be a great test, she is very careful and picky, she braided it at night and is brushing with the loop brush. Enough said...here are the pics...before (it's longer than it looks because it's curled. I'll try to get her to wear it straight..she loves it curled.
AFTER.......

I use www.photobucket.com . Up load your pics then click on the little tree icon just above this box. Not the one with the arrow, but just the plain tree. It will pop up a box that asks for a image URL. It has Http:// already written. Delete that and just paste your url from photobuckt onto that line. It should work out just fine.
Can't wait to see them!!

Gorgeous! You did great on blending the colors She'll love how great the hair holds a curl. I curled mine 3 days ago and it's still nice and curly. Once again- beautiful!

I used one pack of D-LUX keratin tipped hair from www.yourhairshop.com. I bought one bundle (160 pieces , 8 mini-bundles) and I have three left. so we used only100 pieces. My only issue was I felt the top of the bond after I melted it had a few little strings of keratin that I'm hoping doesnt cause her hair to mat. I also bought yourhairshop's wand, so far, I like it. Another little problem I had for all you experts out there... even thought I used that little clear circle thingy, I kept ever so often getting a baby hair from so where else in the bond, I would just cut it, she had a fit but explained to her..it was ONE HAIR. I will take more pics when it is straight ..if she ever keeps it straight again ..LOL...thanks for all the comments I am excited. And yes, we are one half mile north of Ohio in Bedford.....I would love to come watch you work some day or I would be willing to install on you for free for the training alone...Thanks, Kathy
