During the brief time I did the baggie method, I did it in between washes.

Now I only use a shower cap after I wash my hair, when my hair is still a little wet. Someone told me that that was a version of the baggie method. Water, the best moisture, IMO.

I do the baggie method in between washes. It really doesnt matter when you do it, its just a matter of personal preference.

Basically it is method of protecting the ends.  Basically you put your hair in a ponytail, either after you shampooed your hair or a day after, saturate it with water/liquid leave-in conditioner.  Then you seal the ends with some Vaseline or some grease.  Make your hair into a bun.  Then you take a sandwish baggie (the old fashion one) and place it over the bun then fasten it and then twist it into a secure bun/knot.  Then grab a phony pony and viola, a baggie method.

It depends, but its best to leave your hair in the baggie for a couple of hours so that your hair can benefit from it. Also its important to redo the baggie atleast every other day so your hair wont dry out. I baggie overnight.

So I can combine the ponytail method and the baggie technique?!?  I am thinking when I'm not in the mood for wigs as a protective style, I'll wear my phony pony and a baggie.
