I was thinking of this today, has anyone tryed? how would you make them if you did?

I tried to do this last weekend and ha! I just couldn't fathom it. I made a piece of skin latex mould from a costume store and tried to sew in the hair. I just didn't have the patience. The one piece I did took 3 hrs and it looked like hair plugs. Anyone else?
