just a question: is it normal for the bristles to come out when you first start using it or is it just the brush that i have? i have a phillips #440 (the one on top)

It depends on the brands. Some of the brushes I have bought were not bad brushes but when I 1st got them the bristle were everywhere after a while they stoped comin out, but this mostly happens with cheap brushes.

That happened to me when I used Hollywood Beauty brush(the same
people that make Carrot Creme). The bristles fell out after 10 minutes of
using it and after 2 weeks half of the bristles were gone. I know for a fact
that wasn't just a bad brush in the bunch because I got another one and
the same thing happened.

Some good brands are: Titan(their hard brushes work good as a medium) Gold N' Hot Ace Magic Diane annie
I don't know ANY of those brushes..i didn't even really know they had each had specific names! haha, i just get what feels good. Not to hard and not too soft(i gotta double headed brush w/ one hard side and one soft side)..just a medium for afternoon brushing. haha
