Here's my new install.  It took me 5 1/2 hours.  I did it with extendmagic pre-bonded tips and then installed it with the machine.  I find this easier as the machine has a guard so you don't burn your head.  As you can see, with the EM bonds you can have a high ponytail with undetectable comfortable bonds which I love.  I used colours F14/22 & 18 14inch UK bohyme xx

I've got back of knee ache and back ache I tell you, I think the blood had ran out of my arms by the end of it too lol.  I usually take lots of breaks when I do it but I didn't this time x

Amanda I got to congratulate you on that install it looks fab.  How on earth do you manage to do it yourself.  I take my 'hat off' to anyone who can install their own, I just would not have the patience at all.  Its a good job I got my partner to help me otherwise I would be stumped!!

Its like you say, a lot of patience.  In my opinion once you get the first row in its a lot easier then taking clean sections x

Wow, I'm very impressed.

I have a question about the Extend Magic machine. In your post you said
that it has a heat guard, I thought EM was a cold machine. Am I missing
something?

Yes its cold fusion i.e. it doesn't burn your fingers but its still warm and requires heat to get a little more gooey so it can fuse but its not hot like normal fusion x

as usual chick a top class job!! just goes to show that when youre a well trained professional you do things with your own hair that the cowboy extensionists couldnt even manage to do on clients!! having a fab install in your own hair always gives clients confidence of your skills!!! Wink
