wel..... my mum decided that she no longer wanted to pay for a professional to highlight my light brown hair to the light blonde to which i love! so she gets a home colour to do my roots and says it'll be fine!
so.. the colour at the root is a kind of light ginger blonde and blends ok with the golden tones in my higlights however my highlights in other places have gone white and i no that when it grows the whole thing will look very strange. so the question is how long do i have to wait before i can get a professional to dye my usual highlights back in. i would phone but they close on sundays !

You can have the salon to (try) fix it now if you want. Hair doesn't heal time doesn't change the conditon of your hair.Condioners help your hair but the color in your hair will be there.I think doing a color correction now would be easier for your colorist . The the is if you wait until your roots come in she has to deal with your roots, and ginger blonde hair (at the same time) you are just asking for trouble then.So now that your roots have been colored fixing the color now would be wise.
