I've been lightening my hair for awhile now, and I wanted to take it pretty dark for the summer, but it's come out horribly patchy and uneven (my bangs and some of the front are reeeeeally dark, the back is lighter, but more like the colour I was looking for, and there are random streaks of blonde). How do I fix this? I figure it'll fade a little, but I did use a permanent colour... Any ideas?

Did you do it yourself?  Maybe you just didn't put it on very evenly.  If you're not making too big a change, it's not too big a problem if it's not perfectly even, but when you're making a big change, it's easy to notice :-P .  I've definitely had that prob, both while going darker and while going lighter -_- .
