should i use a no handle hard, med, or softy to train sides? R a mixture of all 3?

for short hair, for instance after getting a cut, use a soft, for growing, darker hair like swissta, i suggest switching to hard, may help turn those waves/naps in the right direction as hair grows. just takes alot of dedication of time to brushing neat

i use all of them, i brush with the hard in the afternoon and the soft maybe in the morning. medium maybe during the day.

c ridge: i had the same exact problem! i brushed my sides down for 3 years straight! it took a hellllla long time to gettem spinnin rite. what i had to do was basically get scalped and start all over. yours should be a much easier fix.
To spin or not to spin...

Thx FRESH for the tip.  I had just got a cut so my hair is a lot lower that i usually have it so i could change the side pattern.  My sides are starting to change direction but no visible waves are forming yet.  My top and back are waving outa control.  I hate I was brushin the sides wrong just neva knew the correct way. Yo FRESH whats ur method?

exactly u can always brush your hair sides at an angle and keep brushing that way till you get to the back of your head then slightly brush down. its sounds weird but it works for me.

i wud suggest do wat u have too...if u prefer 4 dat 360 motion then brush @ a angle so they connect with the front and back. If u wanna get rid of dem napz jus brush more. Converting 2 a hard brush would help also

^ HES RIGHT BUT IT TAKES TIME IN ORDER TO GET 360S IT WONT JUST COME OVER NITE YOU HAVE TO TRAIN YOUR HAIR IN A 360 PATTEREN AND GO FROM THERE LET YA HAIR GROW OUT 3 TO 6 WEEKS THEN GET A CUT THAT DEEPENS THE WAVES THEN LATER GO BACK TO YOUR METHOD
