I've been wearing them about 1 year and a I am seriously addicted!!!!
My first install was with latex glue and good hair from ebay (actually
from a clip in set, I cut the clips off after a few glasses of wine and
decided I was tired of taking them out every night lol).
Pretty much every method and several thousands of dollars later I have
a closet full of hair and every possible attachment supply you can
order. :)
My favorite install was by far the silicone microlinks and the EP
indian hair. I'm going to give my hair a break from the strand by
strand methods and I'm loving LG these days. I think the protacs
are a little bulky for summer.
I'm sure I'll still be wearing them in 10 years.....
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.

I have to say I have been an addict since my first year of high school in 94 soo that would put me at 13 years !! 13 years of sew in's, bonding, fusioning, lacefrontin, everything you can think of too when I first started off bobby pinning in my head.
2 1/2 years of extensions for me (after one year of 3/4 falls, etc). First time was heat seals, then a lot of braid-n-sews w/ fusion on top, and I ended w/ heatseals. Now I am a happy camper w/ clip ins. Happiest w/ clip ins!
Been down since the 80's.. Off and on I've worn extensions since 1987 (ahh it seems like only yesterday!!)
I've worn, sew-in, clip-ons, pinchbraids, bonded wefts... Not to mention -- individual braids, hair pieces, wigs. (I wore a phony pony for my wedding!!!)
My hair is healthy with only ONE minor breakage incident when I INSISTED on having blond highlights (despite my stylists warnings that since my hair is also relaxed that the color would probably break off).. The colored areas broke off pretty badly, but no worries.. I changed the way I parted my hair, so that it covered the damaged area on my next install, and waited a year for things to grow back!
