Forum topic explanations

I've only been reading these forums for a few weeks, so if my question is answered elsewhere, I apologize.  I'm confused as to what some of these forums are about.  I'd love to know what Shrink(and some name that is deleted) is or what 360 waves are.  I haven't read every single post in those forums, but from what I've read, I still can't figure out what they are.  It would be helpful to visitors to have a general description of what some of the less common topics mean.  Obviously, the long hair board is about long hair and things like that, but some of the forums are about very specific things that I've never heard of but am curious to learn about!
