maintenance

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but i did try and search to see if i could find an answer.  I have pre tipped fusion extensions. Since my friend and i do them ourselves, we do not know if there is a maintenance required- meaning, do we go back and add glue, or reheat existing glue with the fusion tool or we just leave it alone?  I am just wondering because i want to get the full potential out of them, the hair was very expensive and it has only been two weeks and 3 fusions have come out. Seems the glue is starting to seperate, but i just love how it looks!!!
