QuoteReplyTopic: Canadian Suppliers? Posted: June 18 2006 at 11:56pm
I have done a bit of searching online for canadian hair extension suppliers and havent had much luck finding any. I used to just get my supplies from local beauty places but the selection is limited and I'm not looking forward to paying customs. Any one recommend anything?
(looking for hair sellers, micro links, shrinkies, pro tac and well pretty much anything)

I have also been searching for decent Canadian hair extension suppliers
for the past few years... unfortunately the prospects seem pretty dire.
The only place that I have found is abantu.com, and they have pretty
limited selection-- I think that the only method that they sell any
supplies for is fusion. I personally haven't tried their hair, but a
salon in my area uses it, and based on what I have seen the quality is
somewhat questionable. If somebody knows any differently it would
be awesome to be proven wrong!
I'll keep up the search and if anybody finds anything it would be great to not have to worry about customs for a change...

There are some shops in Calgary that have monkey barz products (fusion) and another one I visited has just the normal glue sticks you use with the glue guns....
why doesnt anyone in canada have any supplies? Makes you wonder

I live in Ottawa Canada and for years, there was nothing available. I had been doing fusion with monkey barrz and recently switched to Protac and Lg for weft installation and it rocks!!! Install time and removal went from 12 hours (install and removal) to 1 hour or so which makes life much easier. I am still learning the little tricks with protac and probably my next install will be better. I ordered all my bonding (Monkey Barrz) from Abantu but got my hair from a supplier here in Ottawa/Gatineau called Mama Cee...The quality of the hair was okay but again they have so many different kinds, it was a shoot and miss ordeal for me.
I have since attempted Jet Set (ordered online), which I was not impressed with and recently had to place an order for Bohyme (Ebony)which again was ordered from the US. My protac & LG (liquid gold) was ordered both from Sherrie215 (http://hairextensions101.com/Site/Home-1.html) as well as Max Gayer (ebay) and both are great to deal with and very professional...
The only thing I can suggest, is try Mama Cee for hair but they are not on-line so you would have to take a trip here. I guess we need to get some good suppliers here in Canada cause we need hair too!! LOL
Good Luck and keep us posted on new suppliers should you find them!!!

So great to know! For some reason I though Sherrie didn't ship internationally, but I am so happy to know that she does. Have heard exactly what you said about Sherrie ~ great to deal with and very professional!
