I have a full head of highlights (mostly medium blonde) and right now I have an inch of roots that have come in.

My question is what is the best way to touch up my roots myself??? Are those frosting kits any good?

My natural hair color is light/medium brown. Pic below.

Thank you :)

I have a full head of highlights too, but when I asked my hairdresser how do I go by having the roots done as Ive never had any sort of highlights before! and she said they just foil dye the T area instead of doing it all over and explained it as T shape on ya head and just do the roots there as its all you see...pretty odd I thought but oh well

the traditional meathod would be for a stylist to use foils, and match the highlights at the crown only. this would be pretty hard for you to do on your own. you could try a frosting kit that comes with a cap and  pull just the brown roots out so they form a loop. you dont want to pull the entire strand of hair out, just the loop of the brown roots. then apply the color. this is not something i would reccomend tho, as the placement will not line up right with the highlights that are already there, but it is an option. the best advice i could ever give you tho is

GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!
learn to love what you were born with
you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)
