also make sure you use sunscreen with hydroquinone. if it's in a area exposed to sun it will DARKEN the area if you don't use sunscreen

usually hydroquinone skin lightning creams and bleachers. You can find it at any store in the facial section. But dont use a lightener till the acne is gone or whatever problem your having it can be irritating!
