Back again, after a little move to vegas and getting back in the saddle with my hair ext. education and research. Wow, lot's of new posts in two months. I'm courious about the skin wefts....went to the site recommended (www.extensionwarehouse.com/seminar.htm) and couldn't find them.
Also, is everyone still happy with protac? I know I sure liked it when I tried it on acouple of my regular clients and had them on me too.
Lastly, any news about shrinkies....links, etc. I'm particularly interested in the heat shrink (using the wand). My past experiences with them however, is that the wand would crack the seal (too hot?), so I started using two links to be sure I had more holding power. The mico links are actually very good at staying in....just hard to reopen them .....plus, I had roll all the plugs myself....which I gotta stop doing. I just like the super hair factory Boyhme (cuticleless) so much and it doesn't come pre-tipped...or if it does is way too pricy. Any suggestions?? Also, I'm out of Protac, and need to buy some from if you have any.
Dunebug, the ones i got looked ok right out of the pack, and the service from ExtensionWarehouse was nice.......i've never even worn the hair but i took a curling iron to one weft to see how well it would take a curl and it made the ends sort of shrivel up (looking quite like melted synth hair)....on another piece of skin weft i used Natural Instincts hair color to tone it down a bit, and again the hair became frizzy,shrivelly, just crap....so its not something im going to chance putting in my hair ..which sucks because the skin weft part was soooo invisible when i held it up to my scalp, but that's as close as its getting to me
Ouch, I had a narrow escape then. I actually ordered from them, but got no e mail confirmation so I asked them what was going on and they said my order never went through and to try again. Good thing I read this post before I tried again! Thanks for the heads up!
