Hey all!
Just a quick question for all you ladies out the who ride a bike or whatever and wear a helmet when doing so.
I like to go cruising on my fiancees motorcyle, however, my biggest problem is what to do with my hair when I am done.
I have extensions in and a couple times have tried just wearing it down loose under my helmet. The problem with this, aside from helmet head, is that my hair gets SO windblown it becomes one knotty mess!
I have also worn braids, but sometimes, I want to just have my hair down.
Does anyone have a remedy for this? I had thought about letting my hair down loose and piling it all up on my head loose, topping off with my helmet. I am only worried that it will become a mess also b/c of getting it hot and sweaty.

hey, i was wondering the same thing so asked on a bike forum. Apparently the best thing to do is to braid it, and tuck it down the back of your jacket-or you can wear it in a braid loose, if you dont wanna braid it, you can tie it in a low bun or failing that try a hair net (if youre that game! lol). Leaving it loose is just asking for knots lol hence why some biker dudes have the meanest dreads LOL
i ride a harley- this is what works for me, i wear a doo rag under my helmet, after i take helmet off, i take off doo rag and shake out my hair, i always have a hat, baseball cap or what ever avail in case i cant get it to have body on top, i take with me a pic, a small can of hair spray and a mirror and head to the bathroom to fluff up my hair, it works great, the doo rag helps the hair to not get all mushed in helmet. i have been riding for 30 yrs now and i have always worn a doo rag under my helmet, and with extensions, it works like a charm,

I have learned that no matter what I do, the hair cannot be left hanging out loose, lol! I did that and learned the hard way that you just get one BIG knot, or a hundred little ones!!
I have brought a hat with me before and that hid my bad helmet hair, lol.
I was just looking for ways where I could take my helmet off and still have nice looking hair in the end!
