It looks like you built on the pre-existing list which was the Newbie, Member....etc and just added new categories on top to handle people with lots of posts. What a great idea.
Yes Katay, you hit the nail on the head. We wanted to maintain the status quo of the current rating system which consists already of Newbie, Junior Member, Member and Senior Member but wanted to honor those members with more than 2,000 posts - and there are lots of there out there.
Rather than start over and rename everything, which would have required updating many thousands and thousands of member records, Andrew just added new ladder cateogires on top and used standard Internet talkboard protocals.
There was no intent to be "ist" in any way but to honor our existing super posters and do it with as little disruption to the existing system.
In essence he just added the 3 new ladder categories which are Elite member, Super Elite and Lifetime. These naming conventions are just an extension of the previous ladder categories.
Newbie: 0-99 Posts
Junior Member: 100-499 Posts
Member: 500-999 Posts
Senior Member: 1000-1999 Posts
Elite Member: 2000-2999 Posts
Super Elite Member: 3000-4999 Posts
Lifetime Member: 5000+ Posts
Kudos to Andrew for doing the research and getting the new additional categories added on top.
As a side note, moving forward there will be some special "perks" added for the Sernior Members and above. This will potentially include some secret coupons for discounts in the Marketplace, special priviledges in the HairTalk boards and other "thank you for being a loyal member" deals.
Andrew is working on those "perks" as his next assignment for HairTalk and he will post these special "thank yous" down the road. So if you have not become a member and are just a visitor you may want to join to get some points.
Thanks for your feedback.

That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)
PS. Many members have been asking for new ladder positions for advanced posting status...so the new categories were added specifically in response to their request. I hope you all (and you know who you are) are pleased that you will now be recognized for all your loyal posting. Thank you all very much.
