Redo Highlights How Often?

my stylist recommends every 2-3 months depending on growth speed...  mine grows fast, but my hi-lites are only a step or two above my darkest color.  They are the same shade of my natural highlights so I only have mine done every 3-4 months (more in winter less in summer)

Hi-lites usually don't have to be done for at least 3 months. It is really difficult to do it any sooner because the new growth has to be at least 1 to 1 1/2". I am assuming you have had your hair foil weaved and not pulled through a frosting cap. Hi-lites are great just for that very reason - you don't have much upkeep as you do with regular tint touch-ups.

I now have highlights and i get them done about every four-five week. I used to have all-over blond hair and this meant dying my hair every two weeks.
