1. I would say either pro-tac or clip-ins, they are fun and easier.

2. I don't have any cheap hair, but if you just want it for an evening or so, I would say go for synthetic, it's super cheap, it's not my favorite, but it works. As for 22", you can find that most places, but much longer than that I have a hard time finding.

3. My understanding is they are the same thing, one name is used more in the US and other is used other places.

I would say check out the WaWa on sherrie's page. If you have a beauty shop out there, I usually pick up some synthetic there and it's pretty nice. If you are going the clip-in route you could use BSS hair, even cheap stuff, I don't wash clip-ins alot, so I actually prefer this hair because it matches my texture better, but it's not the best for a long install.
