Sara, hello! Love the graphic work & really love this great news. Coming to San Francisco or anywhere in California, I hope I hope?

I'll be sure to wear my PH install I have anxiously awaiting. Made PH bulk into big hair tabs, even banding two colors together to make a piano blend. Can't wait to put it in!

I'd definitely love to take some of your classes!

I am having such a problem with getting clients to want to wear synthetic hair.  I show them nice samples and tell them about the economical pricing but they still think it's 'yucky'.  I think part of the problem is that in the area I live there's not a lot of young people,  they are the ones who are the prime targets for wearing syntbetic hair.  Most of my client base is women in their late 30's-60's, and they want human hair.

I personally love plastik haar and prohair, so I wish I could turn more people on to it.  I do wear my plastikhaar wefts and even though clients like how they look on me, they won't go for it.

I will definitely take your class Sara if you come to San Francisco or Los Angeles!

AMM- what did you use to make the hair tabs?  Is it 2 part epoxy?

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but are these classes avaible to licensed hairstylists only?

metal, I used just a fusion wand and keratin pellets. Melted the pellet on the wand and then ran it through the section of hair and trimmed it even. I cleared all the loose hairs in each tab, picked all that up and weighed it and only lost 3-4 grams total per pack. Not too bad, imo, and it was much less waste than when I did the same amount of packs for individual pretipped. Also, since both ends of PH are banded, I cut the hair where I wanted the length to be and worked off the banded end. For two colors, I put a rubberband around both ends and blended right off the banded ends. I did all that hair in one evening. This is prepped for a bonding tape install.

misslou, brand new straight Wawa feels more silky compared to new PH. HOWEVER, PH by the 2nd and 3rd month of continuous wear is phenom. As most who have long term wear experience with PH can tell you, it gets better with wear. The only time I tweaked PH's ends was by doing a bad roll up with heating curlers. That was easily fixed by using a blow dryer and brush and they were perfectly smooth again. I would never wear Wawa over PH. I have folders and folders of pics of that install and photo documented top to tip how it held up and looked. I'm still amazed. Hubby's favorite install was when I wore PH.

I also meant to add --and this is a must with thermofiber hair like Wawa, Hot Stuff Fusion, Freetress or the others-- do NOT clamp the ends in a curling iron when rolling. Think of the ends like cut rope that you do not want to fray and unravel. Instead, when curling, wrap the strand length around the barrel of the iron and keep just the very ends free. It'll keep thermofiber looking better longer.
