Ther's this book Curly Girl that specifaclly is made for ( you guessed it ) stlying and caring for curly hair when I tried it it made my hair curlier but if anyone out there has tried this method please give some feedback.

i dont agree with some of the things mentioned in the book a lot of it makes sense but the only conditioner rule bugs me i just cant do that to myself my scalp would build up if i did only conditioner.

Oh I agree. I could never go with just conditioner. Specially now that I'm working out again. And I sweat like a man. I might experiment with that vinegar wash thing that many people mention and see how that works. If it doesn't work I can always just go with the shampoos from Lamasbeauty.com which are detergent free. Thanks again for the explanation, I appreciate it.

Even tho you wash with conditioner, you are suppose to clarify your hair. It could be using a ACV rinse or something else. Curly Girl, understands that there could be build up and that is why she offer clarifying recipe in her book.
