Ok so i'm not the most patient of people,,,i find it boring to spend all the time looking after my hair but plastikhaar is just wayyyyy toooo high maintanance. I only installed the hair last week and already i'm taking it out-the hair really only looked good for the first day then it became sooo tangly and knotty and I really feel like im wearing a cheap joke shop wig....ive tried leave in conditioner and blow drying...it blow dries lovely but it doesnt last the knotts and frizziness came straight back-I didn't spend a fortune on this hair (£50) but i really did expect better things from it....i'll be sticking to human hair from now on!
It doesn't have to be natural to be fabulous!!!/

I sure hope our Thermafiber is alot different than your Plasti.!I'm like you as far as maintenance goes, less work for more beauty is the purpose of wearing these rugs for me!!
divinediva, i agree! my plastikhaar was beautiful...but it was just too high maintenance. my natural hair is also very long, so it would all tangle together into big nasty clumps. i've already ordered the elite thermofiber and i can't wait!
Plastikhaar is only high maintenance if you look after it too much. i.e. blow drying it constantly every day will break down the integrity of it, making you have to style it more and more to make it look good. Synth hair is meant to be left alone for the most part. The less you do the less you have to do. It's way less maintenance than human hair IMO.
Sorry to disagree Boogie, but I found that Plastik Haar required weekly steaming to keep it silky.
Prohair is much better. It stays nice and silky for about 6 weeks or so before steaming is required. It's similiar to PH, but Prohair puts some kind of a 'finish' coating on their hair which makes is tangle less.
Divinediva, I can send you a small sample of Prohair if you want to see the difference. PM me if your interested.
I suppose everyone's experiences are different then. I have worn Plastikhaar on my own head repeatedly with no probs and my clients have no probs either. I do think that Prohair is a better texture. It's heavier and less prone to tangling but I don't see a massive difference.
