People say the Solia and Sedu are really good. Me, I don't have the money right now and I got a 20 something dollar conair which I thought would be really harsh on my hair since it is only ceramic coated, but it works really well and doesn't fry my hair like I thought it might. I even use it on the highest setting and the ceramic has yet to chip off. So there are a few options. If you go to walmart or a place like that they have them from 10 to 50 dollars and then there are the professional ones that are in the 80's and up that are supposed to be super. It really depends on what type of hair you have as to which one and what size is the best.
i'm looking to buy a fairly good straightener that won't cost too
much...but i also need something that isn't going to fry my hair
either. My hair is sort of chemically fried (but its getting better, i
got about 4 inches chopped off last week) so its kind of wavy if i let
it air dry, and just gets poofy if i blowdry it.
