Well, it is the hair that was not so great, not the install method, that I personally found great and very dicreet.
Compared to liquid gold, I would say that it was more liquid and totally clear, so it seemed less visible.
But remember the glue was sold to put on the seamless tapes that already had glue on the tapes, so it was only to make the bond last longer. And it did feel very secure. But I don't know how it would be alone, I mean if you use it directly on the wefts, like with Liquid Gold.
I would definitely recomment a sandwich technique if you try that glue.
I have a lot of experience with Ultratress hair (that's what Glamourhair sells) and that brush on glue.
Ultratress has not been good quality lately. I usually buy my seamless wefts from New Concepts, their hair is much better.
I would think that the liquid gold is much stronger. The Ultratress glue is just a version of watered down silicone based hairpiece glue. It's doesn't have a great hold, it's not designed for that. It holds ok with combined with protac 2 tape.
I just noticed a difference between the Ultratress and New Concepts applications. Ultratress you sandwich some natural hair between two pieces of extension hair. The New Concepts method places a piece of tape on the scalp, then you pull a few natural hairs over, then place the extension hair over that. Sort of a sandwich, but only with the tape. They have pictures on their website showing the application.
