QuoteReplyTopic: Any options on hair color that goes with my skin? Posted: January 06 2007 at 10:52pm
I have alabaster skin and hazel eyes, I was wondering what hair color you think would look best with my skin and my eyes. I want to be glowing instead of just so white. I've gone different shades of blonde and brown, but I need outside opinions. What color do you think would suit me best?
If your skin is that white, enough to call it alabaster, I'd guess you
are a winter. Is your natural haircolor red or dark? If so,
you are probably a winter. I'm jealous! I always wished I could
pull off winter colors. If you really are a winter, mainly you
want to avoid yellow shades and any browns or blondes that are warm, if
you want those colors, go for ash. Though there's a good chance
you could pull off red, even though it is warm. You'd look best
with black, but that may give you a more gothy look than you like...if
you go for a very dark brown that is almost black, it will look more
natural.
If your natural haircolor is light though, you are probably not a
winter, you probably wouldn't look very good with red or
dark colors such as black (they'd wash you out in that case).

Well, in that case you could be either a summer or spring most likely,
so I probably wouldn't go very dark. It would be hard to say
because one (spring) looks better in golds and the other (summer) looks
better in ash or silvers. You would probably look great with one
and okay with the other, so either way would work really. Have
you noticed what are your best colors? Do people think you look
great in brights, or not so great? Great in pastels, or less
good? How about pastel lavendar, or navy vs. black?
