help orange hair

I bleached my dark brown hair with the purple kalidacolors from sally's and right now it's and orangeish color.  To get to Jessica Simpsons hair color do I need to bleach it again or could I use a high lift blonde?  Thanks for the help.

You didn't leave the bleach on long enough. You need to bleach your hair further until it reaches the color of the inside of a banana. (pale yellow) Then you can tone to reach your desired color. High lift blondes are not recommended for use on bleached hair. www.goblonde.com has a lot of useful info on going blonde particularly their message board and especially the alternative board.
