QuoteReplyTopic: bleach gone wrong Posted: January 27 2007 at 8:16am
In november I had Black hair and I bleached it twice, used a toner and then dyed it to an ash blonde, which as I was told would counter act and color the orange out of my hair. My hair is brittle and dry and I really really can't deal with this orange brassy nasty color that is in my hair. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to get the orange out with out leaving too much more damage to my hair. I'm going for a really important jobn interveiw in about 2 weeks, and I can't go in there looking like chucky!!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hi Katie,
Ash will only really remove yellow and warmth from the hair. You need a violet toner this will remove the orange ting in your hair. I would advise you go to hair and beauty suppliers, sally's, and ask them for a violet tonner, or something similar , to remove the orange from your hair. Follow the instructions and hopefully your hair will be sorted in time for that important interview. Best of luck, Karen
