Depends what color it is,number one. Blonde of course is much more drying because it has more perxiode in it.
Also,you REALLy dont need to follow this step at all unless you find your ends to be severely faded. It could definitely help with the damage.

Just wondering long term how much hair damage is caused by doing the 10 minute refresh colour on the ends every few months, my hair is fairly dry at best and I want to do my own colour at home without wrecking my hair like I did a few years back. Thanks
