QuoteReplyTopic: What I should do 4 the barber? Posted: February 25 2007 at 12:01am
Aight this is my first post here I'm a newbie to all this sh*t and i got a haircut like 3 weeks ago and i been checking on this site and getting tips from yall bout how to be getting my 360 just rotating on ma dome so i guess im wolfing till whenever but i got a serious question for yall i remember me going to my barber when i use to put oil or grease in my hair and when its time for him to cut my hair he be bitching saying that ma hair should be dry and all that sh*t.. what yall do when yall getting a haircut..wash all the grease outta ya head.. till its clear or yall just tell the sucka to lay back, cut ya hair cuz he gettin paid..
my moms say the same thing. She cuts my hair; has been ever since i was a toddler. But she says wen my hair has all that grease in it, its more difficult to get an even cut cuz my hair is packed down from the grease. So one day I washed my hair like 15min b4 she gave me a haircut, and she blowdried it right be she cut it so it wasnt all wet, and she hooked me up wit like the best haircut she ever gave me. so since then I always make sure my hair dont have grease in it and its dry b4 i get it cut, so i can have a nice, even cut.

In my opinion its best to wash everything out of your hair, but put a little bit of carrot creme in a couple hours b4 ya cut and BRUSH. the carrot cream won't have your hair greasy but after the cut it'll have it lookin fresh instead of dry. An example of this is the pics in my signature (right after the cut)

i did 11 weeks my first time because i think that it's best to hold out the longest possible the 1st time wolfin. but yea, you'll be lookin sloppy at times but if you're goin somewhere use lets jam or pomade a lil while b4 (i prefer lets jam. its easier to put in and wash out plus it add a lil shine). but if you wanna look fresh just get a line/ edge

I keep carrot creme in when I get it cut. Just don't put those extremely thick greases and pomades om your hair. The clippers will get clogged and jammed with hair and grease if you use that stuff.
