QuoteReplyTopic: advice for thin hair please.. Posted: March 24 2007 at 3:12pm
Hi All,
I have aclient who has VERY thin baby fine hair. For about a year we did fusion and she loves it - but I don't thinks it looked as good as it could because her hair is so fine the bonds show, unless she carefully covers and sprays her hair. The problem is she doesn't cover and spray before she leave the house so the bonds show. ( I'm not crazy about the advertising of my business here, shes often asked what's up with her hair and she happily tells everyone they are extensions done by me.)
SO I steered her towards the glued weft methods, which look a whole lot better IMO. But she can't seem to keep the wefts in very long, I think its because she's on the oily side naturally. I have gone over and over the care factor of extensions with her- but I don't think she keeps it up very well. I am afraid to reinforce the wefts with mirco rings because her hair is so fine. So I keep her in a supply of LG.
Any ideas or am I just going to have to cheerfully refuse to do her hair again. HELP!
Thanks,
Audrey

I'm pretty sure I'm not talented enough to do a braid on such silky , fine hair. Very small pinch braids might be OK though, it would just take a REALLY long time because the braids would have to be so small...

You would use synthetic hair aka braiding hair to braid with her hair.
My hair is fine too and that's what my extensionist does. I only have one double weft.
