U wanna gain weight? Lean mass I'm assuming right? Well increase the amount of times u eat a day..this is to increase ur protein intake.
For example:
Bulk period
If u normally eat 3x a day, bump it up to about 5-6 but it doesn't have to be an actual meal. U can do something like eat breakfast in the morning (say around 8am or so) a snack 7 10 (protein bar or shake...or eat something with some protein in it..peanut butter sandwich,tuna..something) then lunch at 12....another snack around 2-3....Dinner around 6 or so...then another SMALL snack before bed.
And make sure ur working out right and eating something for breakfast w/in the first hour of u wakin up. It sounds like a lot but it really isn't b/c for one it increases ur metabolism so that u don't gain FAT.And if ur working out right u'll gain weight, but in mass instead of fat...Then, depending on how much u have gained during ur bulk session, u can change ur workout and diet to tone up....

If you are trying to gain size lifting weights do alot of compound excercises(bench press,deadlifts,squats) and eat mad peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that will get you right because thats what I did in boot camp.
