extensions or real? how to tell?

is it possible to tell if someone with very long, very thick hair is wearing extensions, or is she simply lucky? From personal experience, I know many extremely lucky females with wonderful long, thick hair, and others who  lengthen and/or thicken theirs with the use of extensions (for six years I used to have waist-length hair, but it wasn't very thick so I used extensions all of that time). For many years I've wondered if certain celebrities wear extensions. My guess if probably that they do (because "additions" are standard in celebville), but I just wonder what do you think?

I would think she's not wearing extensions but who knows?
The photo of her resting her head on the cement pole is nice but the other post of Kou Shibasaki resting her head on the t.v. is way cool.

I think its real... This girl I work with...her hair is starting to get long, and its thick and healthy..she wanted to cut it and I told her she was nuts..not to cut it...this girl doesnt dye her hair..so she doesnt do much damage to it..letting it grow long and healthy and thick...prob the same as the girl in the pic..doesnt look like she dyes it... I worked with Hiromi Oshima (dp?) Miss June 2004 I  believe..anyways she had super long hair and it was gorgeous..and real! :-)

jeeeeebus! Amazing but that's gotta be the most impractical hairstyle ever lol! I wonder how do they manage to wash such an amount of hair?

i want long hair but doggone that makes me kinda sick in my stomach to look at those straggly ends, yukkkkk!
and me, growing up in the south, of course i know who crystal gayle is !!! and her hair is STILL long!!
