80s hair?

Me and 3 of the girls I work with are dressing up eighties style for
Wednesday. We are all going for the "extreme" 80s look, and during
discussions about this, ofcourse the subject of 80s hair came up.
We were trying to come up with who had the highest hair among
the 4 of us, and that led to who had the highest hair in our school.


How high was the highest hair in your area? Not freaky or
mowhawk high, but normal(?) poofy 80s hair. The highest we could
come up with, and she had the yearbook picture to back it up was
a girl who graduated in 1991 and the tip of her "boof" was probably
8" from her forehead. (and she had the makeup to complete the
look!) I`m sure this girl has lost all copies of this portrait! Can you
beat that height?
