I had my firt weaves put in about 2 1/2 weeks ago.  Within about 10 days, they were completely hanginy WAY down, it was like something monkeys could swing from!!!

Anyhow, I just had those removed and new tracks put in.  I washed my hair and within 18 hours, the bottom track was doing the same, beginning the hanging process!  Yes, I do wash my hair daily and was just told I could not wash that much, like maybe 1 or 2 times a week!!!!!  Agh!

Secondly, I have never used Goddess Hair before, but my hair was installed yesterday and coming out in clumps!!!!  Has anyone else experienced this same problem with Shedding and Goddess Hair.  It is not a hand tied weft so no prob with cutting, but I would say a minimum of 30% of the hair has shed.  I am doing nothing differentt from all over wefts I have used.  Any incite?

haven't tried the goddess hair. so I can't speak for that sorry.

But when it comes to washing sew-ins - that could be contributing to the loosening, but i'm not sure if it counts for 100% of it. If you have fine hair that gets oily, I'd reccemend getting a dry shampoo, they come in spray form, that way you won't be getting shampooing it daily. Hair truly does not NEED to be washed daily, if you could cut back to say 3 or 4 times a week, hopefully that would help them from loosening up so much. There are some great dry shampoos on the market now that don't have the funky smell like PSsst (which is commonly found at drug stores for a good quick fix and is also cheap and effective, just dosent' have a great smell) , and use that inbetween full shampoos. Now this dosen't mean you can't SHOWER every day, just put your hair in a cap :)

Well, the shedding sounds terrible. I guess you need to seal the wefts? I wouldn't buy from them again.

Your braids shouldn't be coming out like that. I mean you need to try to wash your hair less but still they shouldn't be coming out that fast! Did your braider use braiding hair with your hair when she braided the track?

Yes, she did use hair to braid it with, but I do tend to pull alot on my hair when styling and straightening, which very well may be it.  But I have never had a problem with the weft  shedding, only the loosening.

Anyhow, this hair I have right now is a NIGHTMARE!  It literally looks like a huge hairball of straw.  I tried to condition it tonight and it is AWFUL!

:( that sounds awful! I def wouldn't buy from them again either - and if you're feeling generous you should contact them and tell them what has happened. If they have good customer service they might try and make it up to you in some way.
