Can anyone help

Hi, I am a Hair Extensionist in Southern CA.  I have been doing Hair Extesnions for about a year,  and I am certified in several methods.  I am trying to learn this new method where the wefted hair is actually sewn on hair.  I am getting nowhere..... I was told because I am not a licensed stylist I can't learn which really makes no sense in my opinion because I can learn methods that use glue and tools, but not this method that uses thread.  Anyway, can anyone help me?  I am very good at what I do, and I offer a very sincere, professional approach to all of my clients.  I am simply trying to educate myself more, so I can be of more service.  Any help would be appreciated.  I've treid 2 places and was turned down by both.
