Sew In and Color?

Hi all. I’m new to sew ins and have ordered my hair which is scheduled for delivery tomorrow! I’m so excited! Anyway, I ordered a dark brown and my natural color is sort of a darkish to medium brown so I’m hoping it’s a good match or pretty close anyway. I don’t want to start dyeing this extension hair and would rather color my own hair to match it if need be.

So my question is can you do color on your natural hair the same day that you are installing sew in wefts? Is that not a good idea? Usually what I do when I color is permanent on top to get my grays and a semi on the ends which are more fragile. Either way though, I just wanted to check with you more experienced weave wearers. Thanks.

Cool thanks. Do they need to just get the hair really dry before braiding?
